:: The story

I was born on August 7TH. 1964. I grew up in the rural town of Notodden, Norway, which is 120 km south west of Oslo, the nation's capital. At the age of 19 I received my first camera, a Ricoh KR 10. Within two years I had invested in my first Nikon camera and ever since that time Nikon has bin my camera of choice.

I tell my viewer a story. My stories are told not through composition alone but through an ever-present emotional expression within the motive itself.Photography will always be the reproduction of life's varying moments. These enticing moments fascinate me and are essential to my work. Importantly, photographs become significant with the passing of time, each photo, representing a view of captivated history for the generation to come.
