I visited Russia and the capital Moscow last week. 1 – 7th of april 2017.
My dream became reality. Russia and Moscow has been on my wish list for many years. Now, finally I got the opportunity. In the time since I’d landed this trip and until departure, I was like a kid again. I have traveled a relatively large amount the last 20 years, and must admit that the tension before travel is not the same anymore. It may be dominated by routine. But this time was different, because this was really a destination that has been a dream for a long time.
And Moscow did not disappoint. A great city with very welcoming people and a metro with an architecture that will impress everyone. Places and buildings around as well.
Photographic I took of course some of the traditional tourist photos, but the main reasons for me is the people. I spent a lot of time in the streets, just walk around to catch photographing street subjects. I’m working on putting together a major exhibition with this theme and then I will introduce street images from a variety of places around the world, including Moscow.
I give you a taster here, but most of them must be saved until it becomes a opportunity to exhibit and maybe to make a photobook. So, thats mean something must you wait for …
PS! Special thanks to my travel fellow Jørn for a nice week, and thanks to all moscow-helpers, especialy Eva Egorova and her husband, photographer Max Isatow. Nice to be friends!

A lot more to come in form of exhibit or a photographic fanzine. The future will show 🙂
