Morten Gjerde has completed photographic travels worldwide over the last 40 years. His photographic practise extends since 1983. First on a enthusiast level, But from the year 2000, photography has been the main focus on daily basis.
Gjerde has since 2004 conducted 16 separate solo exhibitions and participated in 16 group exhibitions, both at national and international level. (see link)
Gjerde has, on a regular basis, performed lectures on various topics since the 1990s to date. He has led under large events with up to 5000 people. In the period of 2000 to about 2014, he traveled “Norway around” as a teacher and lecturer organized by the Norwegian Rock Music Association.
From that time (millenium 2000) and until date he has conducted a number of Lectures, course activities and portfolio reviews on various themes based in photography, heldt in Norway and abroad.
