Who was Josef Dzhugashvili?

In the spring of 2019, I boarded a plane to Georgia. My destination was the capital, Tbilisi. I didn’t know much about this country beforehand, but I was aware that Georgia is geographically located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia. Of course, I had looked into the country’s history a little before my trip. I knew that it had been part of the Soviet Union until the union’s collapse in 1991, but not much more than that. For me, this journey was primarily an exciting project. However, my encounter with this country turned out to be rewarding in more ways than one!
